DENVER – Much of Colorado got a fresh helping of snow Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning, which combined with gusting winds closed down several roads and highways near the Palmer Divide and eastern plains.

Snow totals over the last 24 hours varied greatly in the storm, though the Palmer Divide, metro-area foothills and parts of the Western Slope were the big winners. Some blizzard warnings remain in effect until Tuesday afternoon.
