DENVER — After a warm weekend with afternoon storms each day, dry weather will begin to take over this upcoming week.
Afternoon highs will be in the 90s for Monday with storms for the Front Range and eastern plains. We drop into the 80s for Tuesday with dry air settling in...then we jump back into the upper 90s by the time we get to Thursday.
The cooler and wetter weather last week has been a help to the high fire danger and has cleansed some of the wildfire smoke out of our skies. Despite the wet weather, there still are fire restrictions in effect across much of western Colorado, with several wildfires burning.
