A cold front will move into Colorado and stall across the the mountains for the next few days. This front will be the focus for thunderstorms each day through Monday.
Thunderstorms will be likely in the mountains with highs in the 60s. Denver and the plains will have some sunshine in the morning and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-to upper 70s.
The threat for tornadoes will not be high, but frequent lightning and locally heavy ran will be possible. Get your outdoor fun done by noon as the afternoons will be stormy!
By Tuesday, the thunderstorm threat will lessen a bit, with more widely scattered storms.
Drier and warmer weather will return next Wednesday and Thursday.
