Gusty afternoon winds and high temperatures helped contribute to the spread of the NCAR fire near Boulder. Fortunately, we had lighter winds on Sunday.
Temperatures will be even warmer on Monday, with highs in the mid-70s to near 80 degrees.
Our next cold front will swing through on Tuesday. Expect snow for Colorado's high country, with rain showers over the plains Tuesday evening. Highs will be in the 50s.
There is a chance for a rain/snow mix into Wednesday morning.
