Moisture will increase Monday as a cold front moves in. Expect dry and partly cloudy conditions to start, with highs a bit cooler, in the low to mid-80s.

Moisture will impact the mountains and foothills by mid-morning Monday, with highs in the high country in the 60s and 70s. Storms are expected to move east over the metro-area and plains through the afternoon, with the main hazards being strong winds, moderate to heavy rainfall and small hail.
Temperatures will remain in the 80s for Tuesday, with another round of late-day storm activity. The mountains will see a chance for passing afternoon storms each day this week, with drier weather expected for Denver and eastern plains Wednesday and Thursday.
As of now for the Fourth of July on Thursday, highs will be very warm, in the upper 80s with only a slight chance for PM thunderstorms. The possibility of stronger storms returns on Friday. Stay tuned!
