Today was a touch cooler than yesterday, with highs in the mid- to upper 50s across the Metro Area. Winds, thankfully, were much calmer. Tonight, skies stay mostly clear and lows drop to the low 30s by early morning.
Thursday will be warmer, windy and dry, with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees in Denver. Clouds will increase in the afternoon ahead of the next storm system. Winds will also be gusty from the south southwest, with gusts up to 20 mph.
This next storm is looking to be big, wet and chilly for Friday and Saturday. Friday, high temperatures will rise to the low 50s. Rain showers develop and winds will be gusty.
Rain will change to wet, slushy snow in the Denver area on Friday evening and continue through Saturday morning. The track of the storm should bring some great moisture to the region - an inch of liquid or more!
The storm will exit the region late Saturday with dry and warmer weather returning Sunday and Monday.
