DENVER — A First Alert Action Day is in effect. Snow is expected to move into the region Sunday evening.

Clouds will increase statewide on Sunday with snow returning to the western half of Colorado. Temperatures will still be mild in the Denver area with highs around 45 to 50 degrees.
Some light rain and snow is expected develop this evening for metro Denver. We could see about 1-3 inches in Denver Sunday overnight.
Monday will be colder with snow likely for the mountains and in Denver. The Monday morning commute may likely be slick and slow with a few inches of snow possible. Highs will stay in the 30s.
Skies will clear by Tuesday with highs in the 40s.
A milder and dry rest of the week is expected. Highs return to the 50s and 60s.
