Few storms end across Colorado

DENVER — Isolated thunderstorms ending across Colorado with clearing skies by early Friday.

Temperatures will drop to the low to mid-50s overnight as the storms end and skies clear. In the mountains, skies will clear and lows will be in the upper 30s to mid-40s .

Temperatures will warm back into the mid 80s Friday with a few late-day storms. The risk of severe weather will be low.

Saturday will also be warm, with isolated afternoon thunderstorms. Highs will be in the lower 80s.

Showers and thunderstorms will be likely on Sunday, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Some storms Sunday afternoon may turn severe with larger hail and damaging winds.

Early next week will turn drier and hotter with highs near 90 degrees on Monday and in the mid-to upper 80s on Tuesday.
