DENVER — Highs will stay in the 60s this weekend for eastern Colorado. Tonight, clouds and winds gradually decrease. Lows drop to the mid to upper 30s in Denver. Dry and mostly sunny to start Sunday state-wide, with a change on the way tomorrow PM.

On Sunday, another cold front approaches Colorado. Our temperatures will cool slightly before chilly air and rain moves in for the beginning of next week. Mountain snow showers develop Sunday PM.

In Denver, expect increasing clouds throughout Sunday. Highs will top out in the mid-60s. Chance for a few showers on the plains.

For Monday, cooler air and rain will move into the Front Range. Highs will be cooler, in the low 50s in Denver. We have the chance for rain turning to snow across the plains Monday night into Tuesday morning.

Temperatures will gradually climb through the week. Expect 50s Wednesday and Thursday, with 60s on Thursday.

Looking ahead- we could still use more snow... In the mountains, the snow-pack is still roughly at 70 percent of normal for the season, with the southern mountain areas in the worst shape. The next chance for more moisture looks to be by the start of the week in the high country. Stay tuned!
