Sunday was cooler with highs in the mid to-upper 70s-thanks to the passage of a cold front.
Winds will still continue to be strong, with a Red Flag Warning in effect to the west and south of Denver Sunday night and Monday. Relative humidity as low as 10% and Southwest winds sustained at 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph are expected.
Monday will be windier ahead of another storm system that will be developing to the west of Colorado. This next storm will take its time in moving into the state.
Highs will return to the upper 70s to low 80s across the Front Range both Monday and Tuesday. Highs near 90 by Wednesday.
The weather will be dry, warm and windy until some thunderstorms return late Wednesday or Thursday.
