The Front Range Urban Corridor and Palmer Divide saw between 2 and 5 inches of snow; on the plains- trace to 3 inches; the foothills around 3 to 6 inches; and the mountains between 4 and 8 inches.
As the skies clear, Denver is on track to break the record low for October 11th of 22 degrees, set back in 1946. The expected low will be 12 degrees - marking a 71 degree drop from the 83 degree high on Wednesday!
Highs Friday will be in the upper 40s under a sunny sky, the chilly weather will be long gone by the weekend. Highs in Denver will be back into the upper 60s on Saturday.
Mostly sunny skies are expected Sunday, with readings around 70 degrees at the start of the Broncos game!
Plenty of great fall color remains in the mountains and this weekend the coating of fresh snow in the northern mountains will make for a spectacular display! Highs will be in the upper 50s to middle 60s in the mountains.
Warm, dry and pleasant weather will last for most of next week!
