Thunderstorms will slowly diminish through the early morning hours Thursday, but areas of low clouds and fog will develop across eastern Colorado. Some sunshine will break through mid-morning and the weather should stay dry until early afternoon when more storms develop.

Highs on Thursday will be cooler with readings in the low to mid 80s. With the increase in humidity, locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding will be possible, along with plenty of lightning.

The unsettled weather pattern will continue Friday and into the weekend with more showers and thunderstorms possible through Sunday. High temperatures will remain a bit below normal - in the mid-to upper 80s.

By early next week, temperatures will pop back into the low 90s and the rain chances will drop a bit.
