Snow will begin in the mountains on Monday morning- a fresh powder day of skiing for Presidents' Day. Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for most mountain towns for Monday and Tuesday.
Clouds will increase on Monday with snow developing late in the day for metro Denver. Expect highs to drop into the 40s..with temperatures steadily dropping in the afternoon and evening as the front passes through.
Bitterly cold, arctic air will arrive by Tuesday, with several inches of snow and temperatures near zero Tuesday morning and only in the lower teens Tuesday afternoon.
Wednesday will be bitter cold with subzero morning lows and highs in the teens.
