Denver — Tonight will be cold with a few icy spots likely. Clouds will increase Thursday, but temperatures will warm up with highs in the mid-40s to low 50s for Denver and in the upper 30s to low 40s in the mountains.

Friday will be even warmer with highs near 60 degrees in Denver and in the 40s in the mountains.
A new storm system will bring snow to the mountains starting Friday night and continued through Saturday. Denver and the eastern plains will stay dry with a cooling trend and some gusty northwest winds.
Next week will start mild and dry, but turn colder with snow after next Wednesday.
