DENVER —
Some areas of heavy rain will increase the risk for flash flooding tonight, especially over burn scar areas and the eastern plains.
Rain tapers off tonight and lows will fall to the low 60s by morning.
To start the week, expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. A few isolated storms will be possible in the late-afternoon.
The cooler weather will stretch through next week, with highs staying in the 80s Tuesday through Friday and the chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoons.
