A weak cold front will slide southward into northern Colorado on Wednesday. Skies will be partly cloudy in the morning, and become mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be around 90 degrees - about 5 to 6 degrees cooler than on Tuesday afternoon.
Highs on Thursday and Friday will be even cooler with readings in the low to mid 80s. Thunderstorm chances will be higher, thanks to an increase in humidity. Locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding will be the main concern.
By the weekend, temperatures will pop back into the upper 80s to low 90s and the rain chances will drop a bit.
