DENVER — Temperatures climbed back to the middle to upper 90s in Denver and across the eastern plains again Wednesday.
Tonight, skies stay hazy and it will be a warm night with around 65 degrees by morning in Denver.
Smoke from wildfires in Utah and Arizona will be persistent across the state and especially in western Colorado. Fire restrictions are in effect across much of western Colorado and several wildfires are burning and increasing in size over the western half of the state.
The hot weather will end starting Thursday into the weekend with cool and wet weather expected., especially Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will be much cooler with just low 70s in the Denver area.
Sunday will stay cool and showery, followed by warmer and drier weather early next week.
