DENVER — So far, we have seen a record-breaking 74 days of 90 degree heat in Denver and today could be day 75.
Fall officially started early Tuesday morning, but summer-like temperatures will continue through tomorrow. We'll be about 15 degrees above normal both today and Friday, with highs near 90 degrees.
We'll see mostly sunny skies, with some areas of smoke along the Front Range especially north near Fort Collins.
The winds will pick up across western Colorado tomorrow ahead of our next cold front. This is a weak and dry front but it will usher in some cooler weather for the weekend.
Temperatures will cool to near-seasonal averages, with low 80s on Saturday and upper 70s on Sunday for the Broncos game. The front will not bring much moisture, so the overall dry pattern will continue.
