Scattered thunderstorms will be possible for Denver and the I-25 Corridor through the evening - providing some natural fireworks in our skies until around midnight. Rain chances will hold at around 40% through the evening hours.
Skies will becoming partly cloudy overnight with morning lows in the 60s for Denver and the eastern plains and in the upper 40s to middle 50s in the mountains and foothills.
The weather pattern will remain hot for most of the week following the long Fourth of July holiday with more scattered thunderstorms each afternoon. Highs will be in the low to mid-90s again on Tuesday.
There will be a slight increase in monsoon moisture for Wednesday and Thursday, bringing a better chance for thunderstorms. The cloud cover may keep temperatures down a bit with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees both days.
Hotter and drier weather is expected for the Front Range by next weekend, with highs staying the middle 90s and lower rain chances.
