DENVER — Warm weather returns for the Front Range, with temperatures soaring back into the upper 80s and low 90s as we head into the holiday weekend.

We'll see mostly sunny skies statewide, but there is an Ozone Action Day Alert in place until 4 p.m. for the northern Front Range and entire Denver metro area.

By Thursday, highs will be back in low to mid 90s and will stay toasty through Friday. There will be a slightly better chance of storms on Friday afternoon.

As of now, our Fourth of July holiday weekend is looking pretty warm, but storms are likely on Saturday afternoon! Highs will be near 90 both Saturday and Sunday.
