DENVER — A First Alert Action Day is now in effect through Tuesday for rain and snow affecting Denver and the Front Range for the next several days.
A few systems will impact the region for the end of the weekend and into early next week.
Rain will continue to fall throughout Sunday night in Denver. Tomorrow morning we may see that mix with snow. We aren't expecting significant accumulation. However, there will be periods of rain mixing with snow through Tuesday. Temperatures for Denver highs will only be in the low 40s to start the work week along with the soggy weather.
In the mountains, temperatures will be in the upper 30s to middle 40s, with a mix of rain and snow in the valleys and snow above 9,000 feet. A few inches will fall over the next few days on the highest peaks.
Temperatures will begin to warm up by the middle and end of the week.
