DENVER — The eight day severe weather marathon is finally ending for Colorado! The last round of dangerous weather is racing toward the southeast and will exit our state late tonight. The storms on Sunday just missed Denver, but brought large damaging hail to many parts of northern and eastern Colorado.
Tornadoes touched down in Morgan and Washington counties and considerable damage was reported in the town of Brush.

Skies will clear overnight with lows dropping to the low to mid-50s early Monday. Some low clouds and patchy fog will be possible over northeast Colorado early in the day.
Finally the stormy weather pattern will exit Colorado with dry and pleasant weather to start the week!
Monday will be mostly sunny, but cooler, with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Isolated brief thunderstorms may develop in the mountains and foothills, but most areas will stay dry.
Hot weather will cover western Colorado on Monday with highs in the upper 90s around Grand Junction. That hot and dry weather will slowly move east and cover all of the state later in the week.
Tuesday will have highs back in the mid-80s, with plenty of sunshine.
Hot and dry weather with 90s are expected Wednesday and Thursday. A few afternoon storms may develop on Friday with highs in the 90s.
Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny and hot with highs in the 90s. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms may develop on Sunday.
