DENVER — The strong winds that have gusted to over 60 mph on the eastern plains will diminish tonight. Skies will be clearing, but slipepry roads will still be a concern over eastern Colorado through early Wednesday..

Tonight's lows will be very cold, dropping to the single digits to around 10 degrees in Denver. Mountain temperatures will be zero to 20 below early Wednesday morning.

Wednesday looks calmer and mostly sunny, with highs returning to the low 40s.

Milder and dry weather is expected to round out the week. Highs will reach around 50 degrees on Thursday and Friday, with temperatures expected to rise to near 60 degrees this Saturday!

Clouds will increase statewide on Sunday with some light snow returning to westenr Colorado.
