Winds pick up through the day and some light rain and snow is expected develop this afternoon and evening for metro Denver. We could see about 1-3 inches in Denver Sunday overnight.
A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect 5 p.m. Sunday through 5 a.m. Monday, for up to 2-4 inches of snow for Boulder, the western suburbs, and over the Palmer Divide. Roads may become icy and slushy by late evening.
The Monday morning commute may likely be slick and slow with lows in the 20s. Monday, snow tapers off by the afternoon. Daytime highs rebound to the low 40s tomorrow.
Skies will clear by Tuesday with highs in the 50s.
A milder and dry rest of the week is expected. Highs return to the 50s and 60s Wednesday through Friday.
