DENVER- A dry and quiet pattern is in store for the rest of the week - a wonderful change of pace from February!

Highs Tuesday afternoon hit the mid to upper 50s across the metro-area. Overnight, skies stay mostly clear and lows drop to the upper 20s.

Windy conditions are expected Wednesday, with mild temperatures. Highs will reach the low 60s in the Denver area and across the plains, with comfortable 40s in the mountains. A FIRE WEATHER WARNING will be in effect for the far eastern counties of Colorado due to the warm, dry windy conditions.

Clouds will increase a little on Thursday as a minor weather disturbance drifts across Colorado. Highs will still be mild - in the 50s for Denver and mid-to upper 30s in the mountains.

Warm and dry weather can be expected Friday and Saturday with highs in the mid and upper 60s, we might even hit 70 degrees on Saturday!

Another storm may bring precipitation back to the mountains on Sunday and in the Denver area next Monday.
