DENVER — Widespread haze and smoke will filter back into the Front Range this evening, mostly from the fires that continue across the West Coast and a little more smoke from our various Colorado fires.
Skies will be mostly clear of clouds, but air quality will take a hit. Lows overnight will cool to the mid-50s across the metro-area.
Temperatures will be a touch cooler on Wednesday, in the low to mid-80s.
Thursday and Friday, sunshine and mid to upper 80s for highs are expected.
Expect a slight drop in temperatures this weekend, with middle 80s Saturday, then upper 70s to low 80s on Sunday. A few showers will be possible on Sunday, which will be a welcome sight with our worsening drought conditions.
The recent cooler and wetter weather did ease fire danger somewhat across Colorado, but the return to hot and dry conditions means we still have to be extremely careful!
