Denver hit a chilly record low Thursday morning - a record low of 7 degrees below zero at Denver International Airport!

The weather stayed cold, but dry in Denver, while snow showers continued in the mountains through-out the afternoon. Highs on Thursday stayed in the upper teens to low 20s on the plains and in the 5 to 15 degrees above zero range in the mountains.

Tonight will be another cold one with lows of zero to 5 above on the plains and 10 below to zero in the mountains.

Friday will be dry and chilly with highs 32-35 degrees in Denver and in the teens to low 20s in the mountains.

Sunny and milder weather is expected Saturday with 50s for lower elevations and 30s in the high country.

More snow will move into the mountains Sunday afternoon with 3 to 6 inches possible by Monday morning. Denver and the plains will be dry and warmer Sunday with highs in the low 60s.

Some flurries will be possible Sunday night and early Monday, followed by clearing and cooler weather. Highs on Monday will be around 50 degrees in Denver with 20s to low 30s in the mountains.

Tuesday will be dry and warmer with highs in the middle 60s in Denver and in the 40s in the mountains.
