DENVER —After a cloudy and damp start to our Wednesday, skies are clear across Colorado and we are in store for a chilly night.

Temperatures across the northeastern plains will plummet overnight. A Frost Advisory goes into effect early Thursday morning, with temperatures dipping to near freezing. The Denver metro area is not under this advisory, but areas like Fort Collins, Greeley and Limon are. Cover or bring in any plants that you want to save!

Then, great weather continues for the rest of the week. Highs will stay comfortable, in the low 70s Thursday. A warm afternoon is expected Friday, with a high near 80 degrees in Denver. We don't expect any rain to show up for the remainder of the week either.

The aspen leaves are changing and glowing in the mountains! You still have time to experience the beauty of our Colorado high country. Here's where to go to see the beautiful fall foliage.
