DENVER — This Mother's Day will be dry and mostly sunny with highs in the 50s to low 60s in the mountains and 60s for Denver and the plains. Out west, the Grand Valley should have highs in the 70s. A very nice day, weather-wise, across the state.
This next week will turn stormy with rain and cooler weather expected on Monday. Highs will be in the 50s and a little snow can be expected above 10,000 feet in the northern and central mountains.
Tuesday will be briefly milder and drier, with highs near 70 degrees, followed by a better chance for thunderstorms Wednesday through Friday.
Right now, there is no extreme cold in our 10-14 day forecast — good news for gardeners!
