DENVER — A cold front brought a big change for the first of October! Our afternoon highs were only in the 50s Tuesday. We'll stay cloudy and chilly tonight, with a few rain showers through early Wednesday morning.
Our lows will drop to the low to mid-40s early Wednesday under a mostly cloudy sky.
By Wednesday afternoon, our highs will be in the mid-60s to low 70s across the metro-area, with gradually clearing conditions. Sunshine is expected across the state through late-afternoon.
Fire danger will be a concern once again into our central mountains, with high winds, dry conditions and low relative humidity.
Then, great weather continues for the rest of the week. Highs will stay comfortable, in the low 70s Thursday. A warm afternoon is expected Friday, with a high near 80 degrees in Denver. We don't expect any rain to show up for the remainder of the week either.
The aspen leaves are changing and glowing in the mountains! You still have time to experience the beauty of our Colorado high country. Here's where to go to see the beautiful fall foliage.
