DENVER: From 70s- to rain and snow in Denver- over the next 24 hours.
We saw highs in the low 70s across the metro Denver area this afternoon. Evening storms have been moving across the Front Range for a few hours.
Later tonight, we'll see a strong shift in winds, with a chance of rain and snow across the Metro Area through early tomorrow morning. We have issued a First Alert Action Day for Tuesday because of this storm. The snow will be light in Denver, but we could see a couple of inches in the foothills and mountains. Be prepared for a wet Tuesday morning commute..and you'll need a jacket as cooler air moves in.
Expect cooler conditions, with highs in the upper 40s to around 50 degrees in Denver. Skies stay mostly cloudy through the day.
Wednesday will be dry and mild, with highs in the upper 60s, followed by a few showers and slightly cooler weather on Thursday.
It also looks like this Friday will be the first warm one in about a month. We'll see highs in the 70s from Friday through Sunday...a beautiful weekend to get the yard prepped for planting!
