DENVER -- Sunday was a delightful day with sunshine and warmer weather.  Highs hit the low to mid 60s. Overnight, lows will be milder, in the upper 30s and low 40s. Winds remain relatively calm.

In the mountains, there is a chance for a few light rain/snow showers. Clearing skies are expected state-wide by early Monday morning.

Monday will be sunny in the morning across the Denver area, turning partly to mostly cloudy with a few late day showers and thunderstorms.  Highs will be around 70 degrees. No severe weather is expected. Winds however will be gusty through the evening hours.

Tuesday, we have the chance for early morning showers. A rain/snow mix is possible, as lows drop to around freezing. Expect cooler conditions, with highs in the upper 40s to around 50 degrees in Denver. Skies stay mostly cloudy through the day.

Wednesday will be dry and mild, with highs in the upper 60s, followed by a few showers and slightly cooler weather on Thursday.
