DENVER — Expect temperatures to stay mild for the beginning of the week.

Areas of smoke and haze will continue to impact portions of Colorado Monday, especially areas downwind from the Cameron Peak Fire and Mullen Fire. Air quality advisories are in place for the Front Range as conditions are still a little unhealthy for sensitive groups.

Dry conditions remain across the state and fire danger will increase through Monday. Gusty winds, low relative humidity and warm, dry conditions are a cause for concern through Monday evening.

Skies will stay mostly clear for the next five to seven days as a very dry and quiet weather pattern has developed over the Rocky Mountain region. Nighttime lows will dip to the middle 20s to low 30s in the mountains and upper 30s to mid 40s for lower elevations.

Highs will stay in the low 80s for the Denver area this coming week and linger into next weekend.

Fall color remains spectacular across the Colorado high country. With mild, dry and quiet weather - this weekend should be ideal for checking out the lovely leaves!
