DENVER — Highs were in the mid to upper 90s for Thursday- officially 96 degrees at DIA.
There still will be a chance for afternoon storms tomorrow, especially over the mountains and foothills each afternoon through the weekend. There also a slight risk of severe weather on the eastern plains.
Drought conditions continue to get worse across Colorado, especially in the southern portions of the state.
We'll see highs in the mid- to upper 90s on Saturday and Sunday, with only a slight chance of isolated storms. Mainly hot and dry again across the Denver metro area.
