DENVER — A cold front has made its way through Colorado and has brought us a nice break from the heat.
Temperatures will be back in the 60s and 70s on Friday.
A few evening thunderstorms will affect the Front Range, but there will not be a lot of moisture available for significant rain or any severe weather.
A better chance for storms appears to be on Friday, with partly cloudy skies on Saturday. Some storms could become severe over northeastern Colorado Friday afternoon.
By Father's Day, the weather will warm up and dry out, making for a great day for a cookout for dad!
There may be some more thunderstorms early next week, but the overall weather pattern is remaining quite dry across the central Rockies and the high plains. Any moisture we can get will be very welcome!
