Showers and even some snow across Colorado, but 70s are coming!

DENVER — A storm system will move into Colorado tonight and Friday with some showers and thunderstorms for Denver and the eastern plains and 4 to 8 inches of snow for the mountains above 10,000 feet. Lows will be in the 30s to low 40s on the plains and in the 20s in the mountains.

Friday will be cooler with scattered showers in Denver and across eastern Colorado. Highs will drop back into the 50s. Snow showers will be likely in the mountains, with highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s.

Skies will clear on Saturday with warmer temperatures — back in the 60s for Denver and the plains and 50s in the mountains.

Sunday and Monday will be dry and warm with highs in the low to mid 70s for the Denver area and most lower elevations and 50s to around 60 in the mountains!

A few afternoon thunderstorms will be possible on Tuesday, but temperatures will stay in the upper 60s to low 70s.
