Denver — February is off to a mild start across Colorado! Tuesday was 20 degrees warmer than average in Denver and across eastern Colorado with highs in the low to mid 60s!

Our next storm will hit the state on Wednesday. A cold front will bring a chance of rain by late Wednesday for Denver and the northeast plains. Snow will develop in the mountains and become heavy by Wednesday evening.

Temperatures will still be mild in advance of the cold front with highs in the low to mid-60s again for the Denver area and most of eastern Colorado. Colder air will arrive starting Wednesday evening and early Thursday.

The snow will accumulate to 6-12 inches in the mountains by midday Thursday. The Denver area should see 1 to 3 inches of snow late Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Temperatures will be much colder with highs staying in the 30s in Denver on Thursday and 20s in the mountains.

Friday will be cool and dry, with another round of snow expected on Saturday, especially in the mountains.

Highs will be much colder, in the 30s to low 40s for the weekend.
