DENVER — A portion of S. University Boulevard was closed Thursday morning due to a water main break.
The break occurred near the intersection of University Avenue and Floyd Avenue, and the road was closed between Dartmouth and Hampden Avenue. As of 6:35 a.m., traffic was once again moving through the area.
Denver Water crews were dispatched to the area shortly after 4 a.m., according to spokesman Jose Salas.
Crews will remain on the scene to clean up and repair the water main, so drivers can expect some delays in the area throughout the day.
