A crash knocked out power to the lights at Speer Boulevard and Champa Street early Friday.
A driver hit an electrical box cutting power to the area.
Regis University's Northwest Denver (Lowell) Campus was closed around 5:45 a.m. due to the outage.
Drivers were being forced to take a slight detour around Speer Boulevard and Champa Street until shortly after 6 a.m. when police reopened the roadway.

Light rail service in the area did not appear to be impacted by the outage.
