DENVER – One person died in a crash on northbound I-25 at Mountain Vista Drive near Fort Collins, which shut down the northbound lanes of the interstate Tuesday morning for several hours.
According to Colorado State Patrol Trooper Josh Lewis, the crash happened around 8:50 a.m. Tuesday and involved a pickup truck and a semi-truck.
Lewis said one person died at the scene of the crash. The northbound lanes were closed at mile marker 270 until just after noon, when the road reopened.
Video from the scene showed the pickup truck had split in half at the point where the bed connected to the cab.
