The New IPhone Will Come With A Faster Charger That Can Charge Your Phone Halfway In 30 Minutes

There’s nothing worse than being stuck somewhere with no access to a power outlet and seeing the “Low Power Mode” warning pop up on your iPhone, or worse, a red “1%” in the battery meter.

Fortunately, Apple has announced that the company will release a newer and much faster 18-watt charger that can charge a phone 50% in about 30 minutes — and it will be included with every purchase of a new iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max phone.

With this new charger, even if you only have half an hour in between flights at an airport or are impatiently waiting for your phone to charge while sitting at a Starbucks or a cafe, you can significantly increase your phone’s charge in just 30 minutes, giving you enough juice to fire off more texts and watch a few more YouTube videos.

If that wasn’t enough to make you want to upgrade your phone, the iPhone 11 Pro and the larger iPhone 11 Pro Max also come with a longer battery life. The Pro boasts 4 more hours of battery life than the iPhone XS, while the Pro Max gives you an extra five more than the iPhone Max.

This is partly due to the phones’ more energy-efficient Super Retina XDR display and operating systems. All of the iPhone 11 models also boast an ultra-wide camera lens, allowing you to shoot more beautiful photos and videos, even at night.

However, these new phones are not exactly cheap. Prices start at $999 for the iPhone 11 Pro and $1099 for the iPhone 11 Pro Max (although you may be able to trade in your old model or find deals with your current cell service provider).

Fortunately, if you don’t want to splash out a lot of cash for a completely new iPhone, you can buy the charger separately. It will work with iPhone 8 phones and any newer phones, including the lower-priced iPhone 11 model, and with certain iPads too.
