Broncos Pride loud & proud in CA for Super Bowl

Posted

Broncos fans, young and old, are heading to San Francisco to celebrate the team playing in Super Bowl 50!

Reid and his son, Lance, will be cheering against each other come Sunday.

Reid grew up Hawaii, but said he became a Broncos fan watching John Elway. Lance became a Carolina Panthers' fan because of their quarterback, Cam Newton. Seems Lance is into dabbing like Cam.

Check out Chris and Colton in San Francisco. They had it all! Jerseys, hats, sunglasses, a towel and big smiles as they talked about the Broncos.

Chris especially like raving about his favorite Broncos - John Elway and Terrell Davis. Elway is in the Hall of Fame. On Saturday, we find out if Davis will be voted in this year.

Nolan says he's been a Broncos fan for years. That's because he's related to former Broncos player Mark Schlereth.

Brittany and Ryan said they've been Broncos fans their entire lives.

Natalie is ready for the big game with those fun Broncos pants!

She's a newer Broncos fan. She was convinced by her husband, Alfredo, who is now teaching their kids to be Broncos fans.

Alfredo says he was always John Elway when he played football with his brother as a kid. His brother was Jerry Rice.

Leo says he's been a Broncos fan since the 1980s. He, like many fans we met, became a Broncos fan because of John Elway.

And it wouldn't be a Broncos party without Rocky the Leprechaun who joined Denver7 morning anchor Eric Lupher to talk about the big game!
