DENVER – Basketball will be back in Denver in October, Nuggets fans!
The Nuggets will open the season on Oct. 23 at the Portland Trail Blazers and will host their home opener Friday, Oct. 25 against the Phoenix Suns.
The team announced its 2019-20 regular season schedule on Monday. Among the highlights are a Christmas Day game against New Orleans and Zion Williamson – the first time the Nuggets have played on Christmas Day since 2012.
The Nuggets will play 10 of their first 16 games at home, including matchups with Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Boston, among others.
They will be on national TV 17 times throughout the season – eight games on TNT and nine on ESPN.
