AVON, Colo. — In just a few days the ESPYS air on Denver7.
The ceremony is a little like winning an Oscar, but for best sports performances.
Vail’s Olympic Gold Medalist and World Cup Alpine skier Mikaela Shiffrin is up for two awards: Best Female Athlete (vote here) and Best Female Olympian (vote here).
This week, Denver7 Sports Anchor Alison Mastrangelo had a chance to catch up with Mikaela at her home to talk about her nominations and find out what she will wear to the awards and what it would mean for her to take two ESPYS home.
