Recently the Regis Jesuit hockey team had a teddy bear toss game against Mountain Vista. After the Raiders scored their first goal, fans tossed the teddy bears on the ice. The RJHS players gathered up the stuffed animals, and then spent time getting the bears ready for delivery to kids in the hospital. Great job Raiders! Denver7 Sports would like to encourage all young athletes to get involved in their communities and start giving back at an early age. If your team does something good for others, let us know. We will give them the recognition they deserve! Send in your story and pictures to sports director Lionel Bienvenu or post them on Lionel’s Facebook page.
