DENVER – If you’re going to the Broncos preseason opener against the Vikings this Saturday, you better bring a smartphone or you won’t make it pass the gates.
Earlier this year, the Denver Broncos announced they were doing away with paper tickets for the 2018 season. That includes tickets sent by mail and tickets printed at home.
The change to mobile-only ticketing is intended to cut down on fraud and counterfeiting, a Denver Broncos Football Club spokesperson said in a statement.
Ticket holders will need to download the free Broncos 365 app or use the internet browser on their mobile devices to access the tickets.
The ticket office is running extended hours leading to Saturday’s game and fans are advised to arrive early to the stadium. Gates will open at 5 p.m. Additionally, the Broncos and Ticketmaster will have three mobile ticketing assistance kiosks located on the Mile High Walk on the east, south and west sides of the stadiums, in order to answer any questions fans may have.
Fans without smartphones are encouraged to visit www.denverbroncos.com/tickets/mobiletickets, call the Broncos Ticket Office at (720) 258-333, or email tickets@broncos.nfl.net, with any questions before arriving to Broncos Stadium at Mile High.
