High school seniors around Colorado are being forced to find ways to cope with the loss of their spring semester.
But that loss isn't always personal - it's not always simply about losing a season, or prom, or graduation.
The Arapahoe High School lacrosse team is a storied program. They're perennial playoff contenders and have won three state championships. And lacrosse players from the class of 2020 feel like they're losing a chance to pass along their legacy to their younger teammates.
In the face of that adversity, the seniors spent the spring hosting Zoom meetings with the team in order to find new, creative ways to lead. It may not be perfect, but they feel like that leadership during such a difficult time will speak volumes to their fellow Warriors.
