LA PORTE, Colo. -- The Seaman Fire in the lower Poudre Canyon is now 100 percent contained.
Fire officials announced Saturday morning the blaze burned 231 acres as 33 firefighters focused on mop up efforts and fire monitoring.
Greyrock Trail and Hewlett Gulch Trail remain closed to the public. The Gateway Park Natural Area in Fort Collins also remains closed until further notice.
There are no road closures in effect, however.
The Seaman Fire started Tuesday afternoon near the Seaman Reservoir. At that point, it was only three to five acres but grew exponentially throughout the day.
