BOULDER, Colo. -- A wildfire was contained Tuesday near U.S. 36, north of Boulder.
U.S. 36, also known as North Foothills Highway in that area, was closed at Nebo Road and Longhorn, while firefighters fought the fire.
Officials said the fire burned 2-to-2.5 acres.
The fire was caused by a car accident, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
