LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — The Cameron Peak Fire in western Larimer County grew less than 1,000 acres on Tuesday and remained at 42% contained.
The fire was 128,184 acres in size as of Wednesday morning.
Mandatory evacuations were still in place for Red Feather Lakes, Crystal Lakes and Glacier View. Go here for a full list of Larimer County evacuations and road closures.
Firefighters on Tuesday focused on securing containment lines and mopping up spots on the perimeter of the fire.
The weather Wednesday was expected to be sunny and warm with highs in the 70s. Winds could be shifting with gusts up to 20 mph.
